Model based on old photos. For its realization, the remains of the boards of the ships (manzonia, sapelly and rhyme) were used. The shutter, doors and drawers are practicable. The finish is based on virgin wax.
The Dandy was my second model and the first with wooden liners on a false keel. It was not easy and, if you appreciate it in detail, you can see my lack of experience. However, I learned a lot with it and I think it is a good choice for modelers who are starting.
This was my first model. I started it in 1994.
It is a model for beginners, with rigid hull and without real wooden lining. Even the sales were painted and seamless, but the work of the ropes, the capes, and the whole rigging make you an expert in a short time.
