Simple and complete kit by Amati, with instructions in Italian (though the plans are good enough and with a bit of experience you won’t have any problems even if you don’t speak any Italian). Suitable for beginners. I added some details of my own.

Comments | Quite simple model, easy and fun to make and, in my opinion, suitable for beginners. The kit and the instructions are very complete and clear, but, in Italian. To make a more realistic model, I made a base imitating the waters of the Venetian Laguna, and I added two personal details: The “stick” where the gondola is tied (scale reproduction of one I captured during a visit to Venezia) and a “gondolero” made in painted clay by one of my daughters. |
